Indirect Heating vs. Direct Microwave Heating

In conventional forms of continuous flow processing, heat is introduced at the outside of the pipe and works its way to the coldest point on the inside. This creates the potential for over-heating at the surface of the pipe that can result in reduced product quality and increased fouling.
Continuous flow microwave processing is a volumetric form of heating that produces rapid, consistent, yet gentle heating that yields better quality and less burn on.
