Vice President of Innovation
Amanda runs the Research and Development efforts at SinnovaTek. Her background is in product development with specific expertise in advanced thermal aseptic processing. She has a love for food that extends to her work, travel, and cooking at home. Amanda enjoys the challenge of incorporating nutritious and healthy foods into the products that she develops without compromising flavor, texture, food safety, or stability. She has developed and commercialized more than 50 aseptic products using continuous flow microwave processing, many of which were a first of their kind. Through her work at SinnovaTek, she is able to match novel technologies with the food products that will benefit from them most.
Amanda has an MS in Food Science from North Carolina State University, a BS in Food Science and Technology from the University of Tennessee, and a Certificate in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute at the University of Tennessee.
