R&D Project Engineer
Anita manages Sinnovatek’s R&D product trials and the QC lab. She has been coordinating R&D trials across benchtop, pilot and commercial scale systems since 2010. She acted as the Quality Assurance Manger for Wright Foods during the commercialization of the microwave thermal processing technology and the subsequent commissioning and validation of 3 hot fill and 2 aseptic processing lines and the associated product lines. She returned to her role in R&D after the facility was awarded SQF level 2 certification.
Anita graduated with distinction from North Carolina State University’s Food Science program and received the Forbes award for excellence in leadership. Her research involved studies on the effects of continuous flow microwave thermal processing on anthocyanins, phenolics and vitamin C in strawberries and blueberries.
